JP-5

A fuel used by naval aircraft on board ships. It is equivalent to the British AVCAT. It is denser than JP-4 and is a high-flash (60°C) kerosene; hence, it provides for safer storage on board the ships. It contains an anti-icing chemical and corrosion inhibitors.
